Multi BWC Sync (2024 – ongoing)

Public defenders often receive body-worn camera footage from multiple officers at the same scene. Reviewing each video individually is time-consuming and makes it difficult to piece together a clear narrative.

At JusticeText, I led the design of our multicam sync feature to solve this. It lets users watch multiple BWC feeds on a single, synchronized timeline—side-by-side and fully in sync. Instead of toggling between videos, attorneys can stay anchored in the moment and see every angle at once.

I designed the interface to be lightweight and intuitive, with color-coded video tiles and synced timelines that make it easy to track who’s recording and when. This dramatically reduces review time and gives public defenders a clearer, faster understanding of critical events.

"Your syncing feature you showed just looks so much better. The timeline bars had different colors, and it just looked so thoughtfully designed compared to the other guys."
